We are supporting the recruitment of Nurses to detox and addiction recovery services across a range of care settings in Dublin. These roles involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals undergoing substance withdrawal, stabilisation and ongoing recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities
• Support safe detoxification plans in line with clinical protocols and medical guidance
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor physical and psychological wellbeing throughout treatment
• Administer prescribed medications, including withdrawal management regimes
• Provide patient education, motivational support and harm minimisation guidance
• Participate in multidisciplinary handovers, case reviews and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory and service standards
• Contribute to safe day-to-day clinical operations and emergency response procedures where required

Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RGN / RPN / RGN-RPN dual qualification / RMHN) with current NMBI registration
• Experience in one or more of the following is beneficial (not essential):
– Substance misuse / addiction care
– Mental health nursing
– Community or residential care environments
• Strong communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Professional, calm and reassuring approach when supporting individuals in withdrawal or crisis

Desirable
• Motivational interviewing experience or training
• Experience working within community health, recovery, detox or stabilisation programmes

Pay & Contract
Excellent remuneration package disclosed upon application, with consideration given to experience and clinical background.
Contract and shift patterns vary by service (daytime, rotational, and block-shift options available).
